Hi, I’m Wendy. I live in Telscombe Cliffs with my partner Ash, and our two rescue dogs, a Spaniel cross called Star and Suki our Saluki cross. I found Suki abandoned, wandering over the fields, when no-one claimed her we had the good fortune to adopt her. Completing our animal gang is my 15
year old cat Lola who likes nothing more than to laze the day away! I have three grown up sons and with my love of ‘all creatures great and small’ rubbing off on them I have had the pleasure of sharing my home with a variety of pets over the years, from cats and dogs to rats and chinchillas, not forgetting reptiles and birds, we have pretty much covered them all!
For many years I volunteered at Dogs Trust walking their dogs as well as adopting a fair few over the years. I was made redundant a few years ago and decided it was time to do something for me, animals have been such a huge part of my life that it seemed a natural progression to become a pet carer. I now hold a Boarding and Day Care Licence registered by Lewes District Council and have an Emergency First Aid For Dogs certificate. It is a wonderful life and I enjoy all aspects of our work, from having a lovely walk over the fields to caring, feeding and playing with allsorts of pets.
Hi I’m Louise, proud mum of Albie aged two and my beloved dog Frank 8 years young! I am a qualified horse riding instructor and for the past six years I have been a dog walker. As an owner over the last 18 years of bigger breeds I have a vast amount of experience in what it takes to look after them. This means I mostly concentrate on walking our bigger client dogs using this valuable previous experience on a day to day basis in their handling and if requested training. I am passionate about what we do and dedicated to ensuring that you and your pets are happy being part of Walks & Allsorts.
